Dobbins Print Hint of the Week – ticket printing

Did you know…?

Tickets come in all shapes and sizes, sometimes there not even called tickets.. They can be called vouchers, loyalty cards and even gift cards. You can number them, colour them, personalise them and perforate them. Confused yet? I’m going to tell you a little bit about the different types.

My friends at facemediagroup.co.uk can print your tickets in books (perforated) on thin silk paper, or as single tickets on a thicker card (perforated or not). You can even add variable data (numbering) in any colour you like, including white! It doesn’t have to be just numbers. You can give us a file of codes and we can print them too.

Vouchers are generally produced the same as above, but with vouchers you can add a bit of class by adding a holder, printed on our 350gsm silk card with matt lamination. I’m going to get one just like this (below) from my local beauty salon for my girlfriend Deborah for Valentine’s Day! Have you ever thought about
having plastic gift cards? FMG do these too, I saw some of these in our local gym, they looked fab with metallic lettering!!

Loyalty cards can be used for a whole host of businesses, I have one for the local coffee shop, every 5 stamps I get a free cup of coffee! Have any of you business owners out there thought about loyalty cards? They can be printed on 350gsm, uncoated, recycled and pulp board; we can even supply the customised stamp!
