During the set up of your artwork, the ink coverage should not exceed 300% for any of the colours present in the design. To work out the total percentage for each colour, simply add the individual C, M, Y and K percentages together.
If any of your colours exceed an ink coverage of 300%, the printed items will take longer to dry and this can potentially cause set-off to occur. This is when ink from one side of the printed item is transferred onto the opposite side and can result in delaying your job. In order to avoid any of these issues occurring, please remember to keep your ink coverage below 300%.
